No festival can be called “rock” if the most famous beards of American rock haven’t performed on their stage. Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill can boast of having formed one of the few bands that has remained active with its original lineup for half a century, until Hill’s passing last year. An example of authenticity that could not be missing in the history of a festival as authentic as Azkena Rock Festival.
