The Pogues (2005)
Emerging in the last years of the punk movement’s boom and strongly influenced by the traditional music of their country, Ireland, The Pogues have one of the most eventful and stormy careers in rock. Their countless comings and goings and changes of lineup made it possible for even Joe Strummer of The Clash to join their ranks for a while. Equally as crazy and wild as their career are their live shows, an irresistible invitation to pogo dance that made the audience of the 2005 Azkena Rock Festival enjoy and sweat to the point of exhaustion.
