AZKENA ROCK FESTIVAL 2010

In its ninth edition the Azkena Rock goes beyond its record turnout with one of the most spectacular and heterogeneous line-up of its history. Very different bands like Bob Dylan, Kiss, Chris Isaak, The Hives, Bad Religion,… turn Mendizabala in one of the biggest party of the best Rock And Roll. Airbourne, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, The Black Lips and The Hold Steady, among others, were in charge of opening the festival on Thursday. On Friday there was a particular main course with the awaited performance by Kiss who did not disappoint the audience with their spectacular live sound. The second day it had on stage Slash, The Danmed, Imelda May and The Saints, among others. On the other hand, it was the third and last day which congregated more people thanks to the presence of the great Bob Dylan who had Chris Isaak as a luxury support band. The Hives and Bad Religion closed the 2010 festival with their energetic and intense concerts. 
During the three days of the Azkena Rock Festival 2010 around 45,000 people attended the concerts programmed at the Mendizabala venue in Vitoria.
