The Legendary Shack Shakers, from the heart of Nashville, are one of the beset US underground bands. Their music takes the Southern Gotic farther away through influences like The Cramps, The Gun Club or Tom Waits, all of it interpreted in a very delicious and urgent way. They have an amazing and powerful live sound and they don’t care if they play for 10 or 1,000 people. Colonel J.D. Wilkes is the band’s front man and he also plays the harmonic, the lyrics and is in charge of the graphic design of the band. On stage he can be funny, crazy, furious, mad, acrobat, crazy and fabulous at the same time but always dangerous.
